Re: How do you make a sig tut?
Making a tut is difficult for people who don't know how.
Okay, i'll probably tell you some important aspects in makinga tut later, i'm too busy now, and i'll be making a sig tut soon.

Okay here we go, these are just some important stuff about making sig tutorials.
Important Aspects

- Spoiler:
- Most tutorials are around 600 by 3000
After opening the canvas go to "View" 'Actual Pixels'
Then just make the canvas bigger or put it on full screen mode
It's good to fill tutorials with a dark color but not black (like the color of the background of this forum)
It is good to have a repeating pattern when making
a tutorial (like a pattern saying your username and do not rip).
You can make a pattern by opening up a 150 by 150 pixel
canvas, then you just add the stuff
(again like your username and "Do Not Rip")
Then you got to "Edit" "Define Pattern"
And now go back to your tutorial and do "Layer"
'New fill Layer' then "Pattern", i prefer to put it at 100.
Then you can lower the opacity to your likings
I suggest making the repeating pattern a slightly lighter
color than the background of the background color
(also a cool font helps)
Make sure that the tutorial font is readable.
I suggest Ariel, Times New Roman, Verdana,
basically any default font.
Make sure the text isn't too small or too big.
I suggest sizes 14-24 i personally like 18
Be sure to put your name/username on your tutorial
Be careful with your color choice, too bright colors
and too dark colors are a no no
when it come to tutorials
Be descriptive with each step
To show a step, open up the sig your doing the tutorial for, you can take a screen shot or hide all the layers above the layer you want to show 9by clicking the eye, then make a new layer, then do "Image" "Apply Image" then you could just drag that layer into your tut.
For example your doing step 2 where you have to add c4ds well, you could take a screen shot, or hide all the layers above the layers of c4ds then do image apply image, then drag that layer into your tutorial.
Oh and deviantart.com is a good place to host these tutorials
I'm currently working on my template for a tutorial i'll do later.
